Data deletion

How to request deletion of your kuhukoo data (aligned with the GDPR right to erasure).

You can request full deletion of your kuhukoo account, uploaded content, connected-platform tokens, and derived data (like caption training). We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days, in line with GDPR.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — Meta app removal (Facebook / Instagram / Threads)

Open Settings → Apps and Websites on Facebook (or the equivalent screen on Instagram / Threads) and remove kuhukoo. Meta will call our deauthorize and data-deletion callbacks automatically; we'll disconnect your accounts, cancel any pending scheduled posts, and remove the OAuth tokens we hold for you. You'll be redirected here with a reference code so you can check status.

Option 2 — Email us

Email support@kuhukoo.com with the subject line “Data deletion request” and the email address of your kuhukoo account. We'll confirm within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your user account and profile.
• Every post, media asset, template, and draft you created.
• All OAuth tokens for connected Facebook / Instagram / Threads / YouTube / TikTok / Pinterest / Telegram / WhatsApp accounts.
• Derived data used for AI features (caption/hashtag history).
• Support tickets and audit logs (retention: 90 days).

Backups roll off within an additional 30 days after account deletion.
